Dá Voz à Terra

We urgently need to give the Earth a voice and listen to what it has to tell us. The Earth has expressed itself through extreme climate phenomena – droughts, floods, global warming, melting ice or heat waves – increasingly frequent, everywhere. We have to act, without delay, working in the present due to the urgency of the moment, but paving the way for the future through the education and training of younger people.

They are the decision makers of the tomorrow we want: without plastic in the oceans, with zero CO2 emissions and without the pollution that so harms biodiversity and the environment. A future towards decarbonization and energy transition. A clean planet, deep down.

We want to give a stage to young people. We want to promote a more sustainable future for the planet!

Challenge

We are challenging classes from various schools to develop a creative piece, in a format that makes the most sense for their context, allowing children to Give Voice to the Earth and encouraging the community to adopt more sustainable practices.

The main goal is to promote reflection on sustainability.

Each class must deliver a final project that:

  • Address any sustainability area
  • Is creative and original, conveying the importance of preserving the planet.
  • Present in whatever format of your choosing, such as posters, printed photos, videos, music or other creative ways.

The most creative classes, selected by a jury, will be invited to participate in the "Dá Voz à Terra" event, which will take place at EDP's headquarters, in Lisbon.

Prize: The school in the winning class will receive a cash prize worth 3.000€.
